What we collect and why
When you sign in with Google to post a comment, we receive your Google display name and profile picture. We use these to identify you on your comments. We do not receive your email address.
When you post a comment, we store your display name, profile picture, comment text, and an anonymous account identifier. Comments are displayed publicly on the blog.
We may log your IP address for spam prevention and moderation. IP logs are not shared with third parties.
What we don't collect
We do not collect payment information, location data, or browsing history. We do not serve ads or use third-party tracking pixels.
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you signed in while you browse. These are deleted when you close your browser or sign out.
Data retention
Comments remain on the blog until deleted by you or a blog administrator. To request deletion, email contact@consider.blog.
Third-party services
Sign-in is provided by Google. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
